Ryan A. Randall has spent his entire legal career of over 30 years providing personalized estate planning and probate services to his clients. Soon after graduating from Texas Tech University School of Law, he moved to Dallas to pursue his Masters of Tax Law at Southern Methodist University and to manage the estate planning and asset protection divisions of a boutique Estate Planning firm with offices in Dallas and Lubbock. Ryan quickly developed a statewide reputation for his creative, common sense planning solutions for complex situations facing individuals, small and medium sized businesses, estates and trusts. Ryan and P. Keith Staubus have practiced Probate, Estate Planning and Estate Litigation together since 1992.
Ryan’s practice concentrates on sophisticated estate and trust planning, tax planning, business succession planning, asset protection, charitable planning and probate matters, as well as more simple, modest estates. He also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust administrations and advises clients on complex income, estate and gift tax issues.
Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Ryan has broad expertise and experience in all areas pertaining to estate planning and probate law. He has been rated by the premier legal rating service, Martindale-Hubbell, as an “AV” preeminent rated attorney, the highest rating available achieved by a small percentage of Texas lawyers.
In the estate planning process, he meets personally with individuals and business owners to fully discuss their unique needs and objectives, working closely with the client to prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, medical powers of attorney, and other ancillary documents to achieve all of the client’s objectives, as well as forming limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and foundations to achieve their business planning and asset protection planning goals. In the probate area, Ryan works closely with the Executor and/or Administrator throughout the probate process and advises and assists representatives with the proper and most tax advantageous funding of trusts.

He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Estate Planning Council, and the College of the State Bar of Texas.
